A short defence of the internet

As a non sports person who had limited interest in the big tournaments I always hated the cycle of Olympics/World Cup/Euros every two years. Back in the day when all we had was four TV channels it was damn near inescapable. Now I have near infinite alternatives available online and I don’t even need to watch TV at all any more. So I never do.
